Robert Rausch, My Friend and Neighbor

I met Robert back when he had just moved back to our area I had cast a few bronze pieces for him back then and we later began to collaborate and work together on occasions. Seven or eight years ago Robert and I bought buildings in the Historic Town of Tuscumbia Alabama that are next to each other. He built out a studio in his and I actually maintain a residence and studio in mine. He has become an excellent friend and Sandi and myself consider Robert, Jennifer and the kids family. Robert does all things creative but specializes in product branding and development. His studio "GAS DESIGN CENTER" can be rented for both photography and film and has become one of the South's premiere production spaces. My wife Sandi was out with Natalie, of Alabama Chanin and Robert on location shooting for Alabama Chanin last week. I took a few shots of Robert shooting for Natalie and later in his Studio as he worked in his office while a shoot was wrapping up in the studio space below.

About Me

My photo
I’m a Southern Boy, just 56 last November, I get around here and there, Central America, Africa, Red Bay. I’m a Father, Grandfather, Husband, Artist and general flunky of sorts. Live in a little historic town in an old building I remodeled. Just wanted to hear myself think I guess, talk about the need of simplification, show some art, express an interest or two, brag on my dogs and see where it goes. That’s it!, That’s the deal, Thanks
